We use available light and work in settings that feel most natural and true to your family. Your home, a favorite park or forest you frequent. Consider it a hang out, where we tag along on your family's outing or are invited to your home to make photographs together as we get to know each other.

The best pictures are made when there is trust between us, and everyone is comfortable enough to just be themselves. This sometimes takes time, especially for younger children. Let's shed the expectations and give everyone space and time to get to a place where the camera is invisible. And then we will capture that magic.

Signature Session


Designed for nuclear families.

Sessions last 30 minutes to an hour at a location of your choice. You will receive all the best photographs we make together in high resolution, individually edited and retouched.

For families with newborns and extended families. Sessions lasts up to 90 minutes at a location of your choice. You will receive all the best photographs we make together in high resolution, individually edited and retouched.

Let's talk! The simple process to capturing your memories are as follows:

Please reach out through out contact form. We will discuss your needs, set a date, and work out all the odds and ends.

II. Take photos.

We will meet at the session location and make magic together.

III. Deliver memories.

The photos will be delivered to you in a password-protected online gallery where you will be able to download high resolution images that have been individually edited and retouched. You will be able to order prints through this gallery as well.

FAQ

 

What’s the turnaround time?
We aim to get the photos to you in 2-3 weeks tops. If you need your photos sooner, let us know and we'll do our best to have it ready at your desired time.
What if my kid doesn’t cooperate?
We implore you to shed your expectations of what family pictures should look like. Your children do not have to be posing, looking at the camera, and smiling at all times. We'll let them play, let them be themselves. This is who they are at that moment, and we will embrace them and capture them as they are now.
What do I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. Whatever makes you feel most yourself is what we would suggest you wear. Same goes for your children! Let them wear their favorite shirt - it will mean that much more to you five, ten, twenty years later.
How many images are included with each session?
We don’t believe in keeping images hostage and making you pay more for more photos. These photographs are the outcome of our collaboration. You’ll get all the best images we make together, individually edited and retouched. The signature session generally yields upwards of 50 images, while the celebration session ends up with more than 80.
What if there’s bad weather?
There’s no such thing! These circumstances may yield unexpectedly beautiful photos. But if it will make for a rough time for your family, we can definitely reschedule.
Your services are not in my budget. What should I do?
A very important goal of Aloe Light Studio is to make photography accessible to all. If the packages are outside your budget, please reach out anyway, and we’ll tailor a package that will work for you and your family.
I don't see what I'm looking for. What should I do?
Please contact us with a description of your needs. We will be happy to customize a package for you.
How are the photos delivered?
You will receive the photographs in a password-protected online gallery. Here, you will be able to download all the photographs in high resolution. You will also have the option to order prints.
Can I order prints from you?
Yes! Your photographs will be delivered to you through an online gallery, where you can download the files to your computer. Here, you will also be able to order prints and other items.
